It is capital and largest city of Lithuanian. It is known for its architecture in old town which is a declared UNESCO world heritage site. Summers are warm and winters are cold which almost freeze all the Lakes and Rivers in the city. So the month of may and September are perfect to visit the city.

Vilinil, museum of illusion: it is a fun and interesting place to visit. It’s not like other boring museums; here you get surprises at every corner of the wall.

Museum of Genocide victims: This museum is also known as KGB museum. It depicts the terror that happened in Lithuania. It also contains execution room so if you are travelling with children take care of it.

St. Nicholas church: this church is built in Gothic style with beautiful red brick constructed by German immigrants. 

Vilnius Town Hall:  it is located in the town hall square. It is used for the meeting among parliamentary representative and also organize concert and festivals.

Villinus cathedral: it is most famous church and frequently act as symbol of the city. It’s worth visiting here if you are in search of peace.
